Roc n' Rolla

On this rainy Sunday morning in Amsterdam, I rolled over for the first time! I am quite proud of myself, it was exhausting!

Also, last night I slept in my crib in my room for the first time. I did ok, but I woke up at 2am because my arm got caught in between the bars. It was scary, but then Mama came in and I knew it would be alright. What an eventful weekend!

Check up

The other day I went to the doctor for a check-up. This time there were no needles and this pleased me. The doctor was impressed with how strong I was, and said she thought I would grow up to be an athlete. She also thought I was very charming and liked how I was flirting with her, smiling and blinking when she blinked. I weighed in at almost 15 pounds and am 24 inches in length.

Recovering

That trip to the US was great, but what a doozy. It took a lot out of this little babe. I'm glad to be home and relaxing with Mama and Daddy. Except for this jet lag thing...what day is it?

Hamptons Rocco

I spent the past 2 weeks living it up in the Hamptons. Look at some of the fun things I did!

I hung out in a swing.

I chatted up the ladies.

I tried out Uncle Danny's boogie board.

I took some walks with bobo and vovo.

I took a dip in a baby pool.

I sat on some beach chairs.

And of course, I checked out the beach.

And I met lots and lots of new faces. I can't wait to go back!

Granny Grab

My grandmas love to hold me. When I least expect it, I could be snatched by a granny grab.

I also have to be on my toes for a great-granny grab.

It's good to be loved.

What happened, Hurricane Earl?

I was all ready for you. I had multiple flashlights loaded up with fresh batteries and ready to go. I was very excited to experience my first hurricane. But noooo. You had to blow over. Next time.

My 3 month birthday present

I turned 3 months on Sunday, and as a gift, Mama and Daddy took me on my first trans-Atlantic plane ride! What an adventure that was. I slept comfortably on a pillow on Mama's lap for several hours, then watched Mama eat her airplane food and swatted at a few things on her plate. I needed 2 wardrobe changes, and I laughed at Mama as she disrobed me and cleaned me up in that tiny airplane bathroom. Towards hour 6 I started getting bored, but Daddy couldn't walk me around the plane as I was hoping to do because there was some turbulence, so I got a bit upset. But the flight attendants doted on me and I got the attention I was looking for. All in all, it was a good trip, and Mama and Daddy were very proud of me.
